PARKING
Information for the 2023-2024 season.
The municitpality of Faido recently adopted a new regulation for the handling of the parking spots in Carì-Prodör.
Find below the main differences.
BASIC INFORMATION
PARKING
Customers are required to pay a parking fee when the lifts are open (08.12.23-19.03.24). On the main parking square there is a night-parking ban (from 00:00 to 08:00) to permit snow removal operations.
FEES
less than 3 hr – CHF 1.-/hr
from 3 to 10 hours – CHF 5.-
from 10 to 24 hours – CHF 10.-
MAIN CHANGES
NO MORE PARKING METER
And no more paper tickets. Payment and checks are conducted using the vehicle’s license plate number.
MOBILE APP
To pay the parking fees, we encourage the use of mobile apps such as ParkingPay and TWINT. This is the best solution, as it allow the user to avoid any delay and waiting times. It is also possible to pay through the EasyPark app – however, beware that this provider charges high service fees.
OTHERWISE...
It is possible to register the vehicle license plate and pay the parking fee (with cas or card) at the lifts’ ticket office.
SEASON PERMIT
BEFORE...
User could buy a paper permit valid for the whole winter season, without the guarrantee of a parking spot, transferable between two vehicles, for CHF 100.-
TODAY...
Is it still possible to buy a seasonal permit, without the guarantee of a parking spot. The permit is digital and is connected to the vehicle’s license plate number. The new permit is valid for only ONE license plate and is not transferable. The price is CHF 70.-
HOW TO GET IT?
The seasonal permit can be purchased using the mobile app ParkingPay, or at the lifts’ ticket office.
PARKINGPAY APP
We suggest using the mobile App Parkingpay.
Accepted payment methods are: TWINT, credit card, PostFinance PF Pay, bank transfer and direct debit (LSV/DD).
User shall select the City 6760 Faido and the Zone 21 – Carì. Is it then possible to choose between the purchase of a single parking ticket (PROCEDURE) or a seasonal permit (PERMIT).
